Does olive oil clog your pores?

this "nurse"that I was buying Mary Kaye from, told me that olive oil clogs your pores, I think she said that because I told her that's what I use on my face as a moisterizer but she wanted me to buy her product..is she telling the truth?

I use olive oil... And when I changed over to one of the over-the-counter moisturizers that are "designed" for the face I broke out like crazy. So the short answer is.. No.

Reply:I would say no because my moisturizer has olive oil in it and i use natural homemade soap that has olive oil in it it also has avocado in it and seaweed it is the best stuff i have ever used my skin is great ppl always tell me i have nice skin. If your skin looks good keep on using it.
Reply:No it doesn't it may be heavy which could sit in your pores. If you want a good light moisturing oil use almond oil. I use it, directly on skin or in the shower. I put my sister on it as well when she was pregnant and ended up with no stretch marks. My masseus uses it too. She uses it in my newphews bath and with cradle cap. The best thing about it as well is that it is loaded with almond oil which has the omega oil benefits.
