it won't flush the opening for toilets for the phone to flush

Does flushing a cell phone down toilet ruin PVC pipes or clogs it up?
I'm willing to bet that it would (or is) stuck in the pipes. More than likely you will have to use a snake to get it out, which if you don't know how to do this, you will have to call a plumber. Good Luck
Reply:Yes if it don't ruin it it will clog it because it can not go all the way through the pipes %26amp; out due to curves.
Reply:the toilet waste pipe is big enough for a small phone, but are you sure it passed completely through the toilet itself? I think it would jam up in the crapper.
Reply:it won't ruin the pipes, but it will get caught up in there. It is probably in the trap in the toilet itself. Try using a "closet auger" you will possibly snag it and get it back out.
Reply:Anything flushed down a toilet could get jammed up in the pipes. The toilet is made for only a couple of duties. If it does make it through and does not get caught in your pipes. It will just end up in the water treatment facility. In a septic system, it will just stay in your septic tank.
Reply:its possible.but more than likely what will happen is it will get stuck somewheres and eventually create a clog.just keep an eye on it.

it will get stuck in your pipes, then eventually dookie will pile up and become backed up.





then you'll have to call a plumber out... possibly tear up your yard to get to the clogged pipes.. just to retrieve your perverted accomplice.

Reply:It would not ruin the pipes, but it would most definately clog it up somewhere. I don't think your warranty would cover that either.....LOL I don't wanna know why it was flushed in the first place. The only bad thing is that the battery will contaminate the water as it contains either lithium or nickle metal hydride which are harmful if not disposed of properly, such as flushing.

second thought why dont you climb down in pipe get your phone back and call a plumber


on my cell phone it says dont expose to water probably say that because its harmful to pipes
